Bishop Eddie Long DL Sex Scandal: New Details and Pictures Surface (Photos)

Bishop Eddie Long Scandal – Now four men Spencer LaGrande, Jamal Parris, Maurice Robinson and Anthony Flagg have alleged that they were sexually coerced by one of the most prominent Baptist pastors in the Atlanta area, Eddie Long. The suits were filed in DeKalb County, Georgia, and state that they were coerced by Long into performing a number of sexual acts. The suit said that Long made a habit out of selecting small groups of young male church members and using his authority over them to intimidate them into engaging in a sexual relationship.

Spencer LeGrande

Spencer LeGrande, from the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church based in Charlotte, N.C., like the other three plaintiffs, was a member of New Birth Missionary and was recruited for Bishop Eddie Long’s Longfellows Youth Academy in Lithonia, GA. According to Spencer LeGrande in his lawsuit, he was 15 when he met Long, but the intimate relationship did not start until he was 17. LeGrande claims the two first had sex when Bishop Eddie Long took him on a trip to Nairobi, Kenya and afterward, he moved to Atlanta.

Chris Brown says he's 'sorry should his music be banned?

Chris Brown

LOS ANGELES – Singing Teen heartthrob Chris Brown, who was arrested a week ago in connection with a domestic violence investigation, says he is "sorry and saddened" over what happened.
In a brief statement released through publicist Michael Sitrick on Sunday, Brown says he is seeking counseling from loved ones and his family pastor members.
"I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones, with God's help, I will emerge a better person," he stated.

Los Angeles, WBLI (106.1-FM) plans to pull all of Brown's songs from its rotation Friday and poll listeners on whether they should be reinstated. "Yes, you are innocent until proven guilty," said Bryan O’Quinn, BSM Entertainment’s music marketing specialist. However what is the purpose of banning his music? At this point if you are going to ban his you should ban hers too. To say he is male and is physically stronger is just not going to get it because one could argue that she is female and she socially stronger. If you are going to ban one in all fairness you have to ban the other. Besides where are these kids’ parents? I just don’t see where they were raised right!”

(Currently, the vote is 51 to 49 percent against banning Brown's songs. Surprisingly many are divided on the issue.)
Chris Brown was booked by Los Angeles police on Feb. 8 for allegedly making a criminal threat. He has not been charged by the district attorney and is free on $50,000 bail while the case is under investigation.

The Inauguration was for all Americans

January 21, 2009

“The Inauguration was for all Americans. It is a brand new day. On January 20th, 2009, we all stood together with a new President, a brilliant man who obviously specializes in results and within this celebration of our common values, with our help—He plans to change America.
As a man of African American decent I am often asked, have you ever thought you would have seen such a day? My answer is a resounding “Yes, I have always thought I would see this day”!

What I have experienced is the truest manifestation of what I have been taught and always believed my world was supposed to be. Although it has not yet been perfected… our world, is clearly – a better place, full of hope and promise for all people.
In the name and spirit of our Savior, I thank God in advance – for blessing America. “
